Where you can ride e-scooters
in Australia

Please Note: Each state and territory in Australia has a different set of rules and regulations pertaining to the usage of e-scooters, e-bikes and e-boards (including where e-scooters, e-bikes and e-boards can legally be used and whether e-scooters, e-bikes and e-boards need to be registered with the relevant road traffic authority).  Any user of this product must ensure that that they check and abide by their local by-laws and use responsibly.  Ride with caution and always wear a helmet and protective gear when riding your e-scooter, e-bike and e-board. The majority of jurisdictions followed the Commonwealth/Federal standard cap,of 25km/h and 250W,although:

(a) Western Australia had a lower wattage output at 200W unless the bike meets a specific European Standard, in which case it could go as high as 250W with a 25 km/h max speed;

(b) Northern Territory had a lower wattage output at 200W(but without speed restriction);and

(c) New Zealand had a higher wattage cap at 300W.
